Vendtech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://www.vendtech.co.za/seats/ (the “Website”). This Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and performance guarantees to ensure a fair and transparent experience for our customers.
1. General Return Conditions
We take pride in the quality of our driver seats. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return under the following conditions:
- The return request is made within 7 days of delivery.
- The product is in its original, “as-new” condition (no installation marks, bolt damage to rails, or soiled upholstery).
- The product is in its original packaging with proof of purchase.
2. Warranty Period
All our driver seats, including the M80-P and M80-S series, are covered by a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
- Coverage: This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including the mechanical suspension systems and frame integrity.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper installation, misuse in applications for which the seat was not designed, or unauthorised modifications.
3. Custom and Specialised Orders
Please note that seats customised with specific trim options (such as specific imported cloth, vinyl, or canvas) are non-returnable unless they are found to have a manufacturing defect covered under the 6-month warranty.
4. Defective or Damaged Items
In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA):
- If a product is defective within the 6-month warranty period, please notify us at info@vendtech.co.za.
- Upon verification of the defect, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund.
- Vendtech will cover the courier costs for the return and re-delivery of confirmed defective items.
5. Shipping and Handling
- Change of Mind: For standard (non-custom) returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to our facility. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- No Restocking Fees: Vendtech does not charge a restocking fee for returns, provided the items are returned in the required “as-new” condition.
6. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed via your original payment method or EFT.
